After much consideration I have decided to retire from transport coordinating after almost 16 years and over 1600 pets moved. It has truly been a blessing in my life to assist these animals and I have made some wonderful friends along the way. Unlike some who "are pursuing other interests" I have not found something to replace this worthwhile work. I am simply too old, tired, and overworked (at my paying job) to have the time and energy required to continue.
This last transport is going to be an unusual one - transporting tiny orphaned puppies. (Their mom was hit by a car.) They will be 4 weeks old at the time of transport and will need to be kept warm and fed often during the transport. We will send them in a crate to accompany them all the way to rescue. If you want to participate in this special run please let me know asap.
Thank you all for everything you have done for us in the past. It does take a village.
